Hi everyone! I’m Brooke, and I’m so excited to be serving as one of MEDLIFE’s Co-Presidents this year! I’m an incoming senior at Texas A&M majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Medical Anthropology on the pre-med track. This past summer, I had the opportunity to attend a MEDLIFE Service Learning Trip to Peru, and it was easily one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had! Outside of school and MEDLIFE, I love cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends. I’m so excited to meet everyone, make some amazing memories, and have such a fun year while making a difference together!

Hello! My name is Maritza Apolinar and I am so excited to be the Vice-President of MEDLIFE this upcoming year. I am currently a Senior Biomedical Engineering major on the pre-med track. My goal is to become either a fetal or cardiac surgeon. I am looking forward to getting to know all of our members better and to make meaningful contributions to this organization. A few random facts about me are that I love to spend time with my family, play video games, run, and dance :)

I was born in New Orleans as a Hurricane Katrina baby and now reside in Houston. I hope to become a Physician Assistant and continue serving communities through compassionate, intentional care.
