Other Individual Volunteer Opportunities:
St. Joseph’s Hospital: Job-like clinical volunteering in various departments within the hospital. Application for the spring semester is due by the end of November. More information and application is here.
Baylor Scott & White: Job-like clinical volunteering similar to St. Joseph's. Application must be filled out the semester prior. College applications will be available on November 1st beginning at 8:00 a.m. for the Spring 2026 semester. More information and application is found here.
Acara Hospice: As a hospice care volunteer, you’ll provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients during their final stages of life. Your role may include sitting with patients, listening to their stories, offering comfort, or playing board games. Through your presence, you’ll bring dignity, peace, and human connection to those in need. More information and application is found here.
Traditions Health Hospice: Volunteers perform many important duties. Whether providing companionship in a patient’s home, assisting with a special event, or handling other meaningful tasks. More information can be found here.
Scotty’s House: As a volunteer at Scotty's House, you’ll support children who have experienced abuse or trauma by helping create a safe, welcoming environment during their visits. Volunteers assist with tasks like greeting families, organizing play areas, and providing comfort to children during difficult times. Your care and presence help foster healing and trust for young survivors and their families. More information can be found here.
Boys and Girls club: Volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club offers the chance to mentor and inspire young people in a safe, supportive environment. Volunteers help with activities like homework assistance, sports, arts, and leadership programs that empower youth to reach their full potential.
